During Leadership Texarkana’s 15th Annual Lunch with Leaders event, Arkansas High School students Ayden Howard and Jackson Davis, along with students from LEISD, PGISD, and TISD, were nominated honorees in the award ceremony’s youth category. Ayden Howard won the 2024 Wilbur Honor for Youth Community Leadership. Ayden has established himself as an exceptional leader on his high school campus and in the broader community. On campus, Ayden actively participates in both the band and the football team, effectively showcasing his remarkable leadership abilities. As a testament to his academic prowess, Ayden has been appointed to the student committee responsible for interviewing candidates for the esteemed position of superintendent. Ayden is also a valued member of The Scholars, a Texarkana organization dedicated to nurturing students’ academic and entrepreneurial skills. Notably, Ayden demonstrated his leadership potential at the age of 11 by successfully organizing the Juneteenth parade, establishing a significant event for Texarkana are celebrations. #teamtasd #potentialrealized
